TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. BINDING AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and YUNIM LTD (“Company”, “we”, “us”, Our “our”), a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales (Registered Office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, England; Email: management@yunim.co.uk).

By downloading, registering an account, or using our mobile application, Inyun (the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use and delete the Platform from your device.

Our Data Commitment: Unlike many social discovery and dating applications, YUNIM LTD strictly does not sell, lease, trade, or rent your personal profile data, private chat logs, or contact information to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or external affiliates for marketing purposes. Your data is processed exclusively to deliver core features and facilitate user connections within the Platform.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTED USERS

By creating an account, you represent, warrant, and promise that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have the full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • You have never been convicted of an indictable offense (or felony), any crime involving violence, or any sexual offense.
  • You are not currently required to register as a sex offender with any local, national, or international authority.
  • You have not been previously banned, suspended, or blocked from the Platform.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

Email Verification & Expiry: To access the Platform, you must provide a valid personal email address and successfully complete our verification process using a secure one-time verification code. This transactional verification email is dispatched via our United States-based communications partner, Resend, Inc. You acknowledge that this code is highly time-sensitive and valid only for a limited time, expiring exactly one (1) hour after issuance.

Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and password. You accept full liability for all activities, messages, and content uploaded or transmitted under your account.

4. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

All premium features, services, and subscriptions within the Platform are handled through Apple’s iOS App Store infrastructure.

Payment Processing: We do not collect, process, or store your billing or credit card details. All transactions, currency conversions, and local sales taxes are handled directly by Apple Inc. as the merchant of record in accordance with Apple’s Media Services Terms.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. Apple will automatically charge your linked payment method until you cancel.

Cancellation and Refunds: All purchases are non-refundable. You can manage or cancel your active subscriptions at any time directly through your iOS Apple ID account settings.

5. ZERO-TOLERANCE PROHIBITED CONTENT AND TEXT

We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy for dangerous, harmful, or illegal content. You are strictly prohibited from uploading, posting, sharing, or messaging any text, images, or media that contains:

  • Child Exploitation: Any material depicting, promoting, or referencing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming behavior, or the exploitation/harm of minors in any capacity. Any violation will result in an immediate permanent ban and direct notification to law enforcement authorities globally.
  • Violence and Gore: Graphic, violent, or blood-splattered imagery; photos displaying severe physical injury, body horror, accidents, or self-harm; or any text that incites, glorifies, or encourages physical violence against individuals or groups.
  • Illegal Activities: Any discussions, plans, coordination, or facilitation of illegal acts. This includes, but is not limited to, the sale or distribution of illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, cyber-attacks, fraud, or organizing physical crime.
  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against people based on race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or physical disability.

6. USER CONDUCT AND PLATFORM MISUSE

To protect the safety and integrity of our community, you agree NOT to use the Platform, or behave both on-platform and off-platform, to:

  • Impersonate someone else, catfish, use someone else's photos, or create fraudulent profiles.
  • Display full nudity or explicit sexual content on your public profile, or broadcast personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, social handles) in public bios.
  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, bully, dox, or threaten any user or our customer service employees.
  • Promote or solicit commercial escort services, prostitution, or commercial sugar-dating arrangements.
  • Scrape, mine, or use automated bots, scripts, or spiders to extract data or user profiles from the Platform.
  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the Platform’s software binaries or source code.

7. LOCATION-BASED SERVICES

The Platform uses your device’s location data to suggest proximity-based matches and enable social discovery features. You acknowledge that location data may be approximate, delayed, or subject to hardware and environmental limitations. You may control or revoke location permissions at any time via your device operating system settings, though doing so will limit the core functionality of the Platform.

8. USER INTERACTIONS AND OFFLINE SAFETY

No Background Screening: You acknowledge that YUNIM LTD does not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification checks on its users, though we reserve the right to do so.

Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online within the Platform and offline in the real world. You agree to exercise caution and maintain personal boundaries when meeting new people.

Limitation of Liability: YUNIM LTD is not liable for the conduct, misrepresentations, or behavior of any user, nor for any harm, distress, or injury resulting from matches, messages, or real-world meetings arranged via the Platform.

9. USER CONTENT LICENSE

Ownership: You retain full ownership of the photos, text, and messages you upload (your "Content").

Licence: You grant YUNIM LTD a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, store, and process your Content solely for the purpose of operating, rendering, and delivering the Platform's discovery and chat features. This license terminates automatically when your account is deleted.

10. REPORTING, MODERATION, AND DISCRETIONARY ENFORCEMENT

The Reporting System: Users may submit behavioral or safety Reports regarding profiles or interactions that violate these Terms. Reports are treated as subjective behavioral signals to help protect the community.

Handling of Sensitive Data: The Platform strictly does not encourage users to upload or retain illegal material, and users are highly discouraged from submitting explicit evidence where unnecessary. Where reports include sensitive or potentially unlawful content, such data is handled securely, minimized where possible, and used solely for safety and compliance purposes. Report data is securely stored and access-controlled. Only necessary data is collected based on the report, such as relevant interaction metadata.

Moderation Infrastructure & Human Review: To assist with behavioral signals and automated moderation routing, we utilize secure infrastructure supported by our technical subprocessor, OpenAI, LLC. However, to ensure fairness and prevent automated errors, there will be human review of reports before final, permanent moderation choices are carried out.

Moderation Discretion: YUNIM LTD reserves the absolute, unilateral discretion to monitor activity, investigate reported behavior, and apply restrictions. We are not obligated to follow automated enforcement thresholds and may issue warnings, implement temporary 48-hour suspensions, or permanently terminate accounts based on behavioral patterns or a single severe violation.

Reporting Misuse: Abuse of the report button is strictly prohibited. User reporting behavior is actively tracked, and individuals who engage in false, malicious, or retaliatory misuse of reports will be warned and face potential account restrictions.

Appeals: Users may appeal a moderation decision by contacting management@yunim.co.uk. We review all appeals in good faith but are under no legal obligation to reverse a discretionary moderation decision.

11. DATA STORAGE, ANALYTICS, AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Our platform utilizes a highly specialized, modern cloud architecture powered by core technical subprocessors situated in the United States.

Subprocessor Ecosystem: Our serverless cloud database layer is hosted and run by Neon, Inc. (utilizing AWS infrastructure in Ohio, USA), while our application performance monitoring, diagnostic telemetry, and systems operations infrastructure are powered by Google LLC.

International Consent: If you are accessing the App from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, South Korea, or any other region with strict data privacy frameworks (such as UK GDPR or the South Korean Personal Information Protection Act), your personal profile data, system identifiers, and messaging assets will be securely transferred to and stored in the United States. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your clear understanding and explicit consent to these cross-border technical processing pipelines.

Security Auditing: To protect your personal profile files, we regularly review and audit our security processes, database access levels, and serverless infrastructure permissions.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal claims, disputes, or proceedings arising under these terms must be brought exclusively before the courts of England.

However, if you reside in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections guaranteed in your home jurisdiction.

13. KOREA-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

For users accessing the Platform from the Republic of Korea, the following local compliance parameters apply:

  • Compliance: We actively respect and comply with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and related consumer protection regulations.
  • User Rights: Korean users retain full rights under local law to request access to their data, request corrections, request deletion, or request the suspension of data processing by reaching out to management@yunim.co.uk.
  • Local Representation: Where mandated by the volume or nature of operations under local telecommunications and privacy acts, a designated local representative will be appointed to handle regional regulatory inquiries.

1. INTRODUCTION AND WHO WE ARE

We are YUNIM LTD (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales (Registered Office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, England; Email: management@yunim.co.uk). We act as the Data Controller for the personal information collected through our mobile application, Inyun (the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU GDPR, and the South Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Our Strict Data Promise: YUNIM LTD strictly does not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal profile details, location histories, or private chat logs to third-party data brokers, advertisers, or corporate affiliates for marketing or commercial monetization purposes. Your data is used exclusively to deliver core features and maintain user safety within the Platform.

2. THE DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

We only collect data that is functionally necessary to operate a location-based social discovery platform safely:

  • Account Registration Data: Your email address. We use this to verify your identity via a one-time passcode and secure your account. Please note that this one-time email code is valid only for a limited time and will expire exactly one (1) hour after issuance.
  • Profile Information: Your chosen display name, date of birth (to enforce our 18+ eligibility rule), gender, profile photos, and biography text.
  • Foreground Location Data: Your precise geographical coordinates (GPS data). We only access your location while the Platform is actively open and running in the foreground on your device. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed. This data is used solely to calculate distances and suggest nearby connections.
  • App Usage & Technical Data: Your IP address, device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to optimize app performance and detect bot activity.
  • Private Communications: The text messages and media you send to other users within the Platform’s chat interface. This data is processed securely to deliver your messages.

3. DATA STORAGE, SECURITY, AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Our platform utilizes core infrastructure and specialized services provided by trusted third-party data subprocessors.

International Transfers to the US: While YUNIM LTD is a United Kingdom entity, our core tech stack and partners—Neon Inc., Google, OpenAI, and Resend—are entirely United States-based companies. Consequently, your personal information, profile data, technical metadata, and communication logs will be securely transferred to, hosted in, and processed within the United States.

Consent: If you are accessing the Platform from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or the Republic of Korea, your continued use of the Platform constitutes your clear understanding and explicit consent to this cross-border transfer.

Security & Auditing: We utilize robust encryption protocols (AES-256) to ensure your data remains secure during transit and at rest. To maintain the highest standards of user protection, we regularly review and audit our data security and internal handling processes to catch vulnerabilities and safeguard your profile files.

4. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA (RETENTION & DELETION)

We believe in data minimization. Your information is stored only as long as your account remains active.

Account Deletion: When you choose to delete your account through the Platform settings, your active profile data, photos, location logs, and private messages are immediately and permanently hard-deleted from our production servers.

The Permanent Blocklist (Legitimate Safety Interest): If an account is permanently banned for severe violations—such as distributing prohibited content, harassment, or attempting to exploit minors—we permanently retain that user's verified email address on an isolated, encrypted Blocklist. This data is processed strictly under our Legitimate Interest to safeguard our community and prevent known dangerous actors from re-registering under new profiles.

5. DATA SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY SUBPROCESSORS

Because we do not sell your data, we only share your information with specific infrastructure and platform providers necessary to run the App. All of the following partners are located in the United States:

  • Neon, Inc. / Amazon Web Services (AWS): For core serverless cloud database architecture and persistent file storage located at their Ohio, USA data center.
  • Google LLC: For platform analytics, application performance monitoring, cloud computing resources, and technical operations infrastructure.
  • OpenAI, LLC: For secure automated assistance with behavioral signals, moderation routing, and processing specific text-based platform mechanics.
  • Resend, Inc.: For processing, generating, and securely distributing our automated emails, including your timed one-time registration passcodes.
  • Apple Inc.: For processing all app downloads, subscriptions, and in-app transactions. YUNIM LTD never sees or stores your credit card numbers or financial billing data.

We may also disclose your data if strictly required to do so by a valid legal order, court subpoena, or law enforcement investigation concerning imminent physical harm or illegal activity.

6. YOUR GLOBAL PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location (including the UK, EEA, and South Korea), you have strict legal rights regarding your personal information, which you can exercise at any time by emailing us at management@yunim.co.uk:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete profile data.
  • Right to Deletion: You can demand the permanent erasure of your personal data.
  • Right to Restriction: You can request that we temporarily suspend processing your data while a dispute is being resolved.

7. SOUTH KOREA-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

In compliance with the South Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA):

  • Data Destruction Procedure: Upon user request or account closure, data earmarked for erasure is instantly hard-deleted using secure technical overwrites that make the files completely unrecoverable.
  • Local Privacy Rights: Korean citizens can submit data requests or complaints directly to our management team via management@yunim.co.uk. We will respond to and process your request within the legally mandated statutory timeframes.
  • Local Representative: Where required by operational scale and telecommunications density rules under South Korean privacy laws, YUNIM LTD will officially designate a localized domestic privacy representative.

8. USER REPORTING, MODERATION, AND DISCRETIONARY SAFETY DATA

To keep the Inyun community safe, the Platform includes a user-reporting feature to flag policy violations and behavioral misconduct.

  • Reporting Button Misuse: Abuse of the report button is strictly prohibited. User reporting behavior is actively tracked by our system, and individuals who submit malicious, false, or misuse reports will be warned and face potential account restrictions.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our features or international compliance rules evolve. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy directly within the Platform or via a direct in-app alert. Your continued use of Inyun after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
